BETA is a three-day live music event at Volume Village, presenting evening concerts and DJ sets that opened the summer season in Aarhus. Across May 29–31, the programme brought together established and emerging artists in outdoor performance settings, blending structured concerts with spontaneous communal moments. The project aimed to capture this local music celebration as a cohesive cultural moment anchored in Volume’s outdoor space and community-driven energy.
The visual approach responded to the festival’s rhythm: sequenced sets, crowd interaction, and spatial transitions between stages. Cinematic pacing balanced crowdwide perspectives with intimate moments on stage and in the audience, emphasizing the event’s atmosphere and diversity of performance formats while maintaining continuity over three nights.
The resulting material functions as a visual record of BETA 2025, supporting Aarhus Volume’s documentation and future communication. It reflects the event’s scale and character — outdoor festival energy, diverse line-up, and community engagement — for use across digital platforms, archives, and promotional formats.
